Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your BJJ Grapple Buddy account from the mobile app. The steps below describe how. This action cannot be undone.

Steps to delete your account

  1. Sign in to the BJJ Grapple Buddy app.
  2. Open the Account tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen if needed — Delete account is at the end of the list.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. In the confirmation modal, type delete exactly in the text field.
  6. Tap Delete Account to confirm.

What happens when you delete your account

After deletion:

  • Your account and profile data stored with us are removed according to our retention practices.
  • Content and metadata tied to your account (e.g., playlists, chains, training logs) will no longer be associated with you in our systems.
  • Videos and files you stored in your own Google Drive remain in your Google account; manage them in Google if needed.
  • We may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business needs (for example, billing records).
